The application to join the Ag Advocates for 2024-2025 is open through Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Do you love the idea of sharing your Penn State Ag Sciences journey with prospective students? If yes, consider applying to join the Ag Advocates for the 2024-2025 academic year. As an Advocate, you serve as a front-line ambassador for the college, while also developing leadership skills and growing your professional network.
An Ag Advocate must:
- Be a full-time student in the College of Agricultural Sciences.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
- Commit to at least one consecutive year of service (Fall/Spring Semester).
- Attend bi-weekly meetings, Tuesday evenings from 5:00 – 6:00 PM.
- Be willing to participate in recruitment and outreach activities, which may occur in the evenings and on the weekends.
- Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, dependable, and knowledgeable.
- Be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and team responsibility.
- Be sincere in representing Penn State and the College of Agricultural Sciences.
- Attend the Fall 2024 Ag Advocate Retreat, typically the first Saturday after fall semester classes start.
Complete the application before March 10, 2024.
