Are you looking for a great way to earn money this semester? It's time to sign up for the Guldin Speaking Contest!
First place is $500, and up to eight contestants will receive monetary prizes deposited in their bursar's account. The contest is open to anyone enrolled in a major of the College of Agricultural Sciences. Speeches for the preliminary round on the evening of Monday, March 19th, must be between 5-6 minutes in length. The final round of speeches (from those advancing from the preliminary round) will be held on Monday, March 26th. Speech topics can be anything related to agriculture. For more information about the contest, please contact contest chair Katelyn Zembrzycki at kfz5017@psu.edu. Entry forms and rules are available in 101 Ag Administration Building. Entries must be received in 101 Ag Administration Building by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14th.
