The Penn State Coaly Society is an honor society for students that exemplify leadership excellence in extracurricular activities within the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Coaly Society members are dedicated to the College of Agricultural Sciences and are actively involved in college organizations. Each year, the Coaly Society hosts the Guldin Speaking Contest and coordinates the college's Outstanding Senior Contest with the College of Ag Alumni Society.

Selection of new Coaly Society members is based on leadership positions in college activities and organizations.
Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must be a member of at least one Recognized Student Organization within the College of Agricultural Sciences at University Park.
  • Applicants must have completed at least one full semester at the University Park campus.
  • Applicants must have reached at least junior class standing, academically.
  • Applicants must have an overall grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  • The primary criterion used for selection is leadership roles and a positive impact on the College of Agricultural Sciences.
