Road construction and transportation issues

Unloading at the Site

  • Forklift service is available from our loading dock at the top of Main Street and will be open for exhibitors to unload daily from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.
  • The weekend prior to the show the site will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Contact our facility office at 814-865-2081 if other arrangements our needed. This site is not open to the general public, except during show days.
  • All tractor trailers should access the site from Gate "J" off Route 45.
  • Use the GPS Address: 2710 W. Pine Grove Rd., Pennsylvania Furnace, PA 16865 for deliveries.
  • Exhibitor Newsletter with important logistic information will be sent to exhibitors onsite contacts early in July.

Set-up and Tear-Down of Exhibits

  • The exhibit area will be available to outdoor lot exhibitors for constructing displays and/or setting exhibits at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024. Exhibitors assigned to one of the exhibit tents cannot set-up until Friday, August 9, 2024. All exhibits must be in place by 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 13.
  • No items shall be dismantled or removed from the exhibit area or the APD site until after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15.
  • Displays must be within your marked exhibit space and adhere to set backs. Any digging, excavation, or earth moving will not be permitted in the exhibit area. Exhibi­tors must receive permission from the Show Manager before driving posts or stakes in the ground or placing any aerial displays. 
  • Displays and equipment on outdoor lots must be removed from the exhibit area within one week of the show closure, unless special permission is obtained from PSU.
  • Table-top displays and materials in the Exhibits Tents, Equine Tent, and Dairy & Livestock Tents must be removed at the close of show Thursday evening.

Permits required for traveling to the show this year from the following counties

The Spotted Lanternfly is a big concern to our agriculture industry. We are asking all of you to help keep this invasive insect contained. The Spotted Lanternfly has expanded its range rapidly, primarily by hitchhiking on vehicles and cargo. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) and The Pennsylvania State University College of Agriculture Sciences are working to help educate the public to contain this invasive insect!

If your business moves products or supplies in and out of this quarantine zone, you are required to get a permit and maintain a vehicle log of each trip. This permit helps indicate that you are aware of the Spotted Lanternfly and are taking the necessary steps to help avoid spreading this invasive insect. Issued by the PA Department of Agriculture.
