Consideration for this scholarship is with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. Dairy Farmers of America

Consideration shall be given to all full-time and part-time undergraduate students who are enrolled in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management, Human Development and Family Studies, or Nutrition majors in the College of Health and Human Development or in the Departments of Animal Science, Food Science, or Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education in the College of Agricultural Sciences and who have completed at least two semesters of studies, have achieved superior academic records or show promise of outstanding academic success, and have professed an interest in a career in the dairy industry or in foods and nutrition. Donald V. Josephson and Stuart Patton Mentorship Award in Dairy and Food Science

This award is for graduate students and faculty members and will be awarded by the Head, Department of Animal Science and the Head, Department of Food Science on an alternating basis. Earl and Veronica Casida Graduate Fellowship in Microbial Food Safety

Consideration for this fellowship shall be given to all full-time graduate students exhibiting academic excellence who have been admitted as candidates for a graduate degree in the Department of Food Science with a focus on microbial food safety. Endowed by Earl and Veronica Casida.

Edith and William B. Rosskam, II Memorial Scholarship in Food Science

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in a degree offered by the Department of Food Science, or successor department, in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. Financial need may be a consideration, but is not a requirement for eligibility of this scholarship.

Edwin M. Wagner Memorial Scholarship

Principal consideration shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled full-time in the Department of Food Science who have at least fifth but not more than tenth-semester standing, have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.5, and have an interest in dairy production and/or dairy processing. If no recipient is identified in the Department of Food Science, the scholarship will be awarded to eligible students in the Department of Animal Science. First preference shall be given to students who graduated from the Tri-Valley Area High School in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania or successor high school. Second preference shall be given to students who graduated from Line Mountain High School in Herndon, Pennsylvania or the Upper Dauphin High School in Elizabethville, Pennsylvania or successor high schools. Third preference shall be given to students whose home address of residence is in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Fourth preference shall be given to students who graduated from a Pennsylvania high school. Students selected for the Kim L. Masser Memorial Scholarship shall be given the opportunity, but shall not be required, to apply for a potential co-operative experience or internship with Sterman Masser, Inc., and will receive first preference.

Larry and Lisa Campbell Scholarship in the College of Agricultural Sciences

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success; and who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses; and who have achieved at least a 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Preference shall be given in the following order: First preference shall be given to students who are graduates of Greenwood High School located in Millerstown, Pennsylvania. Second preference shall be given to students who are graduates of any high school located in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Third preference shall be given to students whose home address of record is located in any of the following Pennsylvania counties: Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, or Snyder. Pennsylvania Dairy Innovation Scholarship for the Department of Food Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Food Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Preference shall be given to a student who has demonstrated achievement with innovative research in the dairy industry.
