The Pennsylvania School for Excellence in the Agricultural Sciences, an affiliate of the National Conference of Governor's Schools, will be hosted by the College of Agricultural Sciences at the Penn State University Park Campus. Applications will open November 1.

COVID UPDATE: We are eagerly planning for this program to take place once again on the University Park campus of Penn State. However, should COVID-19 requirements prohibit an in-person experience, our team is also prepared to host the program fully online.

The application form for the Pennsylvania School for Excellence in the Agricultural Sciences summer program must be filled out and sent in by February 26. Please read the application instructions carefully. You may sign up for updates by clicking here.

Due to the pandemic and variance in school instructional modes, as an option in remote teaching, teachers and school counselors may submit their forms directly to pseas@psu.edu.  Transcripts and student application forms (applicant personal data form, agreement and signatures, resume and personal narrative, food security essay (using template provided) should be sent via postal delivery postmarked by February 26th).

Talented high school students who are residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and at the time of application enrolled in their junior year, are invited to apply for the Pennsylvania School for Excellence in the Agricultural Sciences.
