Fostering diversity has been recognized as a core value of the academic and outreach mission, and a priority of the College. The Diversity Council meets 4-6 times per year and is composed of members representing faculty, staff, administration, extension educators and students.
The Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS) organization is focused on supporting student members in various avenues such as leadership development, educational preparation, career placement, and community service. Each year the regions within our organization host a workshop to provide information on professional development to assist in the implementation of our organization's mission.
