The poultry Science Club is extremely active and has something for everyone. This is one of the main reasons we are Nationally recognized.
Penn State’s Department of Animal Science’s Poultry Club was named National Club of the Year competition at the 2023 International Poultry and Processing Exposition (IPPE) in Atlanta, GA, Jan. 24-26.
Club places first for third year in a row; also first in scrapbook competition. Matthew Hackenberg was second in Student of the Year contest.
For the second straight year, Penn State's Poultry Science Club was recognized as National Club of the Year. Senior Josh Cassar was named National Member of the Year.
Each year at it's annual spring banquet The Poultry Science Club recognizes the "Most Active New Member", Most Active Club Member" and "Club Member in the Avian and Poultry Science Minor with the Highest GPA"
We have an assortment of guest speaker annually to provide professional development and share opportunities in the Poultry Industry.
