This series of presentations from faculty and staff in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences will be hosted every month at the the Village at Penn State Retirement Community.

Speakers will address major areas of focus for the college, including food, human health and disease, globalization, sustainability, agricultural production, and more. Each session runs from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. and will be held in the Lion's Den room.

Comparing three examples of Olympic planning for a single city in disparate times shows the flexibility and persistence of the particular opportunities and pressures created by the Olympics’ enduring symbolism as an international “festival of peace and amity.”
