Fall Turkey Harvest 2017

Every fall the club harvests and sells fresh dressed turkeys to the general public as our clubs main fund-raiser. NO pre-orders, everything is sold on a first come first serve basis starting at 11 am the Monday prior to thanksgiving. The Sale is now held at the Penn State Meats Lab on Porter Road. The Poultry Education and Research Center can no longer will allow individual to enter due to Bio-security precautions.

Turkey Harvest Information - 2017

We will be open at the following times:

  • Monday, November 20, 2017: 11 am - 6 pm  and 

  • Tuesday, November 21, 2017:  10 am - 4:45pm or until we sell out

  • This web page will be updated when we run out.

 Turkeys will be available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS with NO PRE-ORDERS. We recommend that you pick up your turkey early in order to assure weight selection and availability.  

Dressed Turkey Weights for 2017

We are timing the birds age so that we have mostly 14-22 pound Fresh dressed ready to cook turkeys for the 2017 sale, there will be 20-30 larger birds available.

Cost: $2.00/lbs and  $1.50/lb. depending on grade.

The sale is at the Penn State Meats Lab (light colored block building) located on Porter Road between the Visitor's Center and baseball stadium (Medler Field).

Follow the signs on the corner of Park and Porter Road.
