Although Penn State is officially closed for the Winter Break beginning on December 24, 2020 and reopens on January 4, 2021, we know that many of you will still be working during that time. If you have a service outage in your office, Ag IT staff will be there to get you back into service!

Following the Penn State calendar, the Ag IT Help Desk will be closed during the Winter Break – returning on January 4, 2021.

Support for significant outages will be available during the break.  In the event of an emergency service outage such as the loss of office networking or the loss of server-based documents, please call 814-865-1229, indicate that you have an emergency and briefly explain the nature of the outage.  This information will be passed to Ag IT staff to help you.

Wireless network connectivity in University Park Campus buildings is a service of Penn State's Enterprise Networking and Communication Services (ENCS).  If wireless connectivity is unavailable, please contact the Penn State Service Desk directly at 814-865-HELP (4357) or for resolution.

Non-emergency requests received by telephone during the break will be entered as a routine help desk ticket and will be responded to beginning on January 4, 2021.  Alternately, you can send non-emergency help requests for assistance after the winter break by using the help desk web form at or email
