College-wide Box to OneDrive migrations have been temporarily paused until April 2021.

As with many detailed and complex projects, deadlines and timetables often shift. Through our work and collaboration with the University Box Project Team, we have learned that we must temporarily pause Box to OneDrive migrations College-wide due to limitations with the tool used to move the files and file permissions. Primarily, we are restricted to only fifty concurrent migrations University-wide and there is a backlog of files/folders to migrate. This pause is temporary, and we expect our College migrations to resume in April.

While we are in a temporary holding pattern, I ask that you continue cleaning up your Box files and folders. Specifically:

Additionally, the University team has advised that accounts with 50,000 files or greater must perform a manual migration. Our IT Consultants will contact and work with faculty and staff who are in this group of users. Please rest assured that we are here to assist every step of the way.
