Internet Explorer support ending

For all College-owned Windows computers, Ag IT will silently disable IE from all Windows computers beginning on June 15, 2022.

• IE icons on the Start Menu and task bar will be removed.
• If you attempt to launch shortcuts or file associations that use IE, you will be redirected to open the same file/URL in Microsoft Edge, IE’s replacement, and see the redirect message displayed below.

If you use IE, Ag IT recommends you begin using another web browser as soon as possible.

For those who are accustomed to the ‘look and feel’ of IE, all Penn State Windows computers have Microsoft Edge installed. Firefox and Google Chrome are additional choices that are also already installed on your computer.
