Hui Wang and Jiayi Wang plan to use edutainment videos on social media platforms native to China to help connect family farms with urban consumers

In China, there is a huge disconnect between small-holder farmers and people living in the cities. Small farmers tend to raise high-quality livestock, but mainly keep what they grow and raise for themselves and their families.

People living in the cities tend not to have access to safe, fresh, quality food, and aren't really aware where their food is coming from.

Team Little Farm -- an Ag Springboard 2017 finalist team -- hopes to connect these two communities, with a new farm-to-consumer model. They pitched live before judges April 13.

Little Farm co-founders, who are graduate students (and a married couple), Hui Wang and Jiayi Wang hope to do this is in part through edutainment videos on social media platforms native to China.
