Each year the Agricultural Safety and Health team highlight a safety topic important to the everyday lives of farm families. This year learn about the hazards of riding lawnmowers, which are used on farms and by homeowners and responding to Ag Emergencies on the Farm. Visit the Rural Health and Safety Tent located at Demo Alley and W. 6th Street! There will be multiple health screening opportunities available each day. Visit AgrAbility for Pennsylvanians to learn about new adaptive resources for agricultural producers who have a disability or long-term health condition. Receive guidance and important screenings to help you and your family achieve optimal state of health along with safety and wellness supplies (as they last).

Healthy Living and Safety, along with a Demonstration Kitchen and various presentations are in the Family Bldg. The 4-H Youth Building provides activities for kids and explore the Butterfly Tent, Shaver's Creek Wildlife Tent, and Maze. Visit the Main Horse Arena where they host Equine Demonstrations, and Pasto Museum.... along with many other activities on the grounds offer something for all ages.

4-H is a Community of Young People all across America who are learning leadership, civic engagement, and life skills. Pennsylvania 4-H serves youth from 5-18 years old. The main focus of 4-H is learning through hands-on as well as digital projects, alongside screened adult volunteers. 4-H Offers a Learning Experience for Everyone, from raising livestock to programming robots. The programs delivered through Penn State Extension with County Educators providing aces to learning and fun in our communities.

This year the butterfly tent will return to Ag Progress Days at the Yard and Garden Area on W. 11th Street. Learn about pollinator plants and native species, Painted Ladies. Be careful not to let any butterflies leave with you... or it will spoil the fun.

Up for some fun? Spend a few minutes—or several hours—wandering through the Corn maze with your kids. This maze is accessible for wheelchairs and baby strollers. Learn fun facts about the Agricultural industry in PA!

In today’s busy society, it can be a challenge to find time to spend with family and friends. This year the Family Building houses Food, Families and Communities (FFC) and Pesticide Education exhibits for Healthy Living. It offers a variety of interactive displays and food demonstrations that will get you thinking about the overall health and wellness of yourself and your family. Welcoming all age groups to benefit from the wealth of information!

The hybrid seed corn plot permits exhibitors to show the performance of selected hybrids under central Pennsylvania conditions. Hybrid corn seedsmen not interested in a field plot may choose to exhibit in an exhibits tent or on an outdoor lot without a corn plot.
