University Park, Pa. -- Retired Penn State faculty member Dennis C. Scanlon and his wife, Janet Scanlon, of State College, have given $50,000 to the University to create a Trustee Scholarship for students in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have financial need. First preference for the scholarship, which will be named for the couple in recognition of their generosity, will be given to students majoring in Agricultural and Extension Education.

Shock chlorination is a simple and inexpensive process that can be used to disinfect water supplies that have been contaminated as a result of these one-time contamination incidents. When done properly, shock chlorination will kill all the bacteria existing in a well.
There will be a folder for each grade level pre-K through 8 under Traditional Lesson Materials and a folder for virtual lesson materials. These are posted in Sharepoint (link below). Within each grade level folder are lesson plans, branded color newsletters, various teaching aids and poster masters and branded handout files in black and white. You can preview files online but you cannot print anything until you download it. Grade levels are being added as we update the branding/funding. As of 11-2021, pre-K, grade 2 and grade 4 are posted. If you need another grade, contact the State Office. If you need copies made, give at least 2 weeks notice.
