Box comments are not able to be migrated to OneDrive. To preserve Box comments you wish to keep, copy and paste them directly into the file. NOTE: Any comments made directly to Office 365 files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint files) will remain post migration.
Finding Box Comments
Files that contain Box comments will be identified with an icon (see below) following the file name.
Reading and Copying Comments
To read Box comments, open the file that contains the comment and review the Activity panel on the far right of the file preview page. From there, comments that need to be retained can be copied and pasted directly into the file.
