I chose Penn State and the College of Agricultural Sciences because growing up in 4-H, I always had a massive agricultural family that consisted of members, parents, leaders, etc. My first experience with the College of Agricultural Sciences reminded me of the family that I had in my 4-H community and made me feel welcomed at Penn State and like I belonged here.

Favorite Penn State Activity:
My favorite activity at Penn State is going on outing trips with the Penn State Outdoors Club, it is a great opportunity to hike and kayak many places around campus.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up, I want to be a soil scientist. I am not sure where I want to work yet, but I love working with soil and being involved in agriculture so I will be happy wherever I end up.

Proudest Achievement in life so far:
My proudest achievement so far is receiving a competitive scholarship from my local watershed and going on to complete a summer internship with them. My internship there has led me to numerous other internships and helped e determine what I wanted to go to school for.

Hobbies:
My favorite thing to do is be outside. Some of my favorite hobbies include archery, hiking, biking, kayaking, and traveling.

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?
If I could be any animal, I would choose to be a honeybee because they are extremely productive and work well as a team.

Dream Vacation:
My dream vacation spot is Iceland for its beautiful hiking terrain and waterfalls.
