The general policies and procedures are designed to help users gain maximum benefit from all arena facilities and to maintain them in a clean and safe manner. All groups will be responsible for following the procedures outlined herein. Our intent is to utilize the facility fully while minimizing cost and inconvenience. Please help us to meet this goal. If you have questions concerning the arena, contact the manager.
All users are responsible for complying with the policies and procedures presented in this manual. Non-University groups should be aware of access policies for Penn State employees, prohibition of sales for nonagricultural goods, required indemnification agreement, and reservation of the right to charge any and all necessary fees for use of the facility. The University reserves the right to require liability insurance and certificate of insurance with Penn State marked as additional insured. All necessary paperwork must be completed before the commencement of an event.
A key deposit is in effect and pertains to all users. A ten dollar deposit per key is required to obtain keys to the Ag Arena facilities. You are responsible for the security of the facility while possessing the keys. Failure to return keys will result in forfeiture of the deposit and will be taken into consideration should you wish to schedule another event.
The College of Agricultural Sciences will make every effort to treat internal and external clients as fairly as possible. Penn State groups have priority for the use of the arena complex. To avoid disappointment, internal clients may schedule dates three years in advance. External organizations may reserve dates no more than two years in advance. Review the attached AD21 Policy Manual for specifics regarding policy and priority.
Non-University Users
Non-University users must be able to demonstrate that the purpose of their event contributes to the mission of the College of Agricultural Sciences.
Users should plan carefully for all phases of clean up and occupancy. The requesting group is responsible for enforcing all regulations. Any questions or concerns should be directed to the manager prior to the event.
