The Penn State Ag Council and the Penn State Extension Council are sponsoring the 2014 College Capitol Day on March 19th as a forum for agribusiness and other friends of the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences to advocate for the college's agricultural research and extension programs.
The college will be hosting an informational training session to update stakeholders on college initiatives, the budget situation, and college strategic planning. The session is designed to provide stakeholders with accurate and effective talking points when advocating for the college.
Lori Connelly, formally the manager of member relations and leadership for Land O' Lakes Inc., joined the College of Agricultural Sciences as assistant director for the newly established Agricultural Resource Centers, effective November 18, 2013.
The Penn State Ag Council spring delegate meeting will take place at Celebration Hall, State College, on April 9, where the program will focus on the trends, challenges, and opportunities around sustainable agriculture.
