The Food Science Club is a Penn State student-based group composed of both undergraduate and graduate members in Food Science.
Meetings are usually held on Mondays at 5:30pm in Room 252 Food Science Building with a dinner social in the Keeney Commons. Typical club meetings range from employer presentation, internship opportunities, socials, and more. The club promotes interaction between Food Science students, Food Science faculty, and the food industry by supporting various events throughout the year.
The club also hosts fun social activities, including the annual Food Science Tailgate, scooping ice cream at Harvestfest in DelGrosso's Amusement Park, trivia events, career workshops, professional development, and collaborations with other organizations. These activities allow students to get to know each other and form friendships outside the classroom.
