Scott A. Burk ’95 B.S. Landscape Contracting

Burk received his bachelor's degree in Landscape Contracting from Penn State in 1995. In 1990, with the help of his wife, Kimberly, he founded Scott's Landscaping Inc., a landscape contracting company that provides service throughout central Pennsylvania.

Initially, the company focused primarily on landscape maintenance services but later expanded to offer design and installation services. As needs increased for quality plant materials, Burk added a nursery division in 2008.

Today, Scott's Landscaping provides full design, installation and maintenance services. Burk's diligence and leadership has continued to grow the company, and he is passionate about exploring new opportunities as they arise.

A leader in the "green industry," Burk has served on the board and on the education committee of the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association. He was also a board member and president for the Central Pennsylvania Builders Association. He currently serves on the advisory committee for the Landscape Program at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

An active volunteer for Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, Burk often returns to classrooms as a guest speaker. He enjoys helping students learn about the landscape industry by sharing his own experiences.

Burk and his wife have four children.
