Virtual PYI 2020
COVID UPDATE: We are eagerly planning for this program to take place once again on the University Park campus of Penn State. However, should COVID-19 requirements prohibit an in-person experience, our team is also prepared to host the program fully online.
PA Youth Institute Day will be on July 14, 2023. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. and the program is from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information to be announced.

Create your best paper. Information Sessions and remote office hours will be offered for feedback on your paper and presentations in April, May, and June 2023 (times and links TBA). First draft is due April 21st, second draft on May 19th and final draft on June 14th.
Deadline for Registration and Paper Submission: June 14, 2023.
Teachers are invited to attend and participate in the PA Youth Institute, more information to come!
Registered participants present their papers at the PYI and one in ten participants will be selected to represent the PYI at the Global Youth Institute, hosted by the World Food Prize Foundation. All who complete the process become Borlaug Scholars, with the option to apply for the Wallace Carver Internship with the USDA when in college, if they choose to participate.
