Video Requirements

We are asking each student to submit a video as part of their self-nomination, which will be used in the virtual Scholarships and Awards Celebration. The self-recorded short video (approximately 1 minute) must contain the following:

1. Introduction:
   • Name
   • Hometown
   • Academic Year
   • Major/Degree Program
2. The name of your College of Agricultural Science scholarship(s)/Award(s) you have received this year.
   • Please contact Susan Warner at sjb5001@psu.edu if you are at all uncertain to the pronunciation of your scholarship(s).
3. A personalized message of gratitude for the representatives of or donors who created your scholarship(s)/award(s).

In addition, your video should meet the following guidelines:

• Use a tablet or smartphone and the highest resolution setting on the device.
• Device should be held steady to record (preferably in landscape mode).
• Position yourself squarely in the frame with good lighting.
• Background should not be busy or distracting (please be aware of what is in your background and any noise).
• Attire should be clean and presentable. No sunglasses or hats. Avoid logos or graphics.
