2025 Scholarships and Awards Donor Celebration
Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the College of Agricultural Sciences 2025 Virtual Scholarships and Awards Donor Celebration! While we had a wonderful in-person event at The Penn Stater on Tuesday, November 18, we missed having the opportunity to connect with those who were unable to attend. We are thrilled to continue offering a virtual option for donors and supporters of the college. This year’s student speakers were outstanding representatives of the college’s student body, and we are glad to be able to share their remarks with everyone. This year’s event theme was Endless Waves. Picture a stone dropped into still water. The moment it touches the surface, waves ripple outward. That stone is your gift. Those waves? They are students whose lives you’ve touched through your generosity. They are the communities our students will serve in their future careers, and the generations who will come behind who will also benefit from your generous spirit. Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Dean Troy L. Ott (’84 Ag)

Thank you!
Thank you for joining in the college’s virtual celebration from afar. We hope you enjoyed the videos from Dean Troy Ott and three of our talented and passionate students who served as our keynote speakers.
So far this year, nearly 1,000 students have received scholarships and awards totaling more than $3.9 million, two numbers that continue to grow as more awarding takes place throughout the academic year. As one of the largest programs of its kind at Penn State, its continued growth is thanks to donors and supporters like you.
Your gifts are the stones creating endless waves and we couldn’t be more grateful for your philanthropic support. If you’re interested in contributing to the success of current and future generations of Ag Sciences students, consider contributing to the college’s General Scholarship Fund. If you have an existing scholarship or award, additional gifts increase its value and enable more students to receive integral support as they pursue their degrees. Interesting in expanding your impact or making a gift? Members of the college’s Development and Alumni Relations team are here to help.
