PSERT members have been conducting a research study during the spring 2014 semester measuring the rate of growth of Quarter Horse foal's.
PSERT members participated in the 5K run/walk Osteochallenge. This 5K raised money for the National Osteoporosis Foundation. Club members set up the course, solicit participants and prizes, and act as race officials.
The first week after classes a group of about 20 members of PSERT traveled down to Kentucky for the 4th annual Undergraduate Research Symposium at The University of Kentucky. Members also got a chance to tour several well known breeding farms and also tour several research facilities.

PSERT members traveled to Florida in May 2018 to explore the Florida horse industry. They participated in a research symposium at University of Florida, visited five different equine operation facilities in Ocala, and had a behind-the-scene tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
