Stephanie Edel-Malizia is the Assistant Director for Academic Digital Education for the College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State, where she utilizes her 25+ years of experience as a leader in learning design to help shape the vision and strategy for online learning for the college. While at Penn State, Stephanie has been an Instructional Designer for both World Campus and Teaching and Learning with Technology and has served as the Director of Education Programs for Academic Outreach.  

Stephanie holds a Doctor of Education degree, has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at numerous conferences. She uses her expertise to lead and manage new course design, development, and revision for online asynchronous courses with an emphasis on designing engaged learning through digital pedagogy.

Prior to Penn State, Stephanie provided leadership in instructional technology as a program director for a regional education center serving 14 school districts in rural Pennsylvania.  Stephanie has taught graduate and undergraduate education courses in online, blended and f2f formats. She started her career as an Instructional Designer and faculty member at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Stephanie received her Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) from Delta State University.
