Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to go into environmental science and be in nature for my career. It wasn't until my family bought a piece of land and started to turn it into a homestead that I was aware of all the challenges with soil conservation and food production. This made me want to help work towards solutions.

Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?

Meeting all these weird, wonderful people who have the same mindset as me when it comes to the environment and sustainability.

Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?

I wish that I had looked through all the electives and interesting classes that Penn State has to offer. Then, I would have taken a broader range of electives that reflected more of the topics that I am interested in aside from my major. There is so much to explore at Penn State!
