Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?

I have always formed strong connections with animals and had a passion for science and problem-solving. The veterinary medicine field works not only to care for animals but also to confront zoonotic interactions and improve overall animal and owner welfare.

Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?

The best part about my time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences has been getting hands-on opportunities with a variety of animals and learning from specialized experts. I have been able to work alongside these professionals to address modern issues and grow my knowledge.

Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?

I wish I had known that it is not at all difficult to get involved at Penn State. There are so many extracurriculars that are open to everyone, no matter your past knowledge or experience in the area. These clubs are the best way to meet people with similar interests as you and even expand your professional network.
