Jesse Bussard is the Team Marketing Coordinator for the Center for Agricultural Conservation Assistance Training with Penn State Extension, where they provide day-to-day marketing support and aid in the planning and implementation of educational products and marketing strategies.

Jesse has spent over 15 years telling stories and building community at the nexus of agriculture, conservation, and craft food and beverage. Originally from and currently based in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, Jesse holds a B.S. in Animal Sciences with a Minor in Equine Science from Penn State University and a M.S. in Crop Science from the University of Kentucky. In the past, Jesse has served as the executive director of an international trade association in the craft beverage industry, worked as an independent writer and event organizer in Montana, and held marketing roles at a craft brewery and a rangeland consulting firm in the Big Sky State. Additionally, Jesse has owned their own business offering marketing and communications consulting to agricultural businesses since 2013.

Jesse returned to their home state of Pennsylvania in late 2021 and enjoys spending time outdoors in the PA Wilds foraging and cultivating mushrooms, as well as reading and listening to music. In addition, they are an active member of the Central PA Mushroom Club and North American Mycological Association.
