Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?

I chose to major in Community, Environment, and Development because it combines all my interests and passions. My major is multidisciplinary, so I take a variety of classes like economics, project management, political science, sociology, geography, and the environment.

Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?

The best part has been joining Sigma Alpha, a professional agriculture sorority. It has provided me with leadership, mentorship, community service, and professional opportunities. I have become best friends with my sorority sisters and it’s nice to be a part of a community of women in agriculture. I have classes with them, and we help each other study.

Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?

I wish I could have known the extent of opportunities offered in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Penn State as a whole. I found a club in my senior year that I wish I would have joined earlier to get the most out of the professional network and opportunities.
