Elena Quinones

Elena joined the College of Agricultural Sciences Development and Alumni Relations team in October 2025 as development assistant. The focus of her role is to support the behind-the-scenes work of the major gift process. Prior to her role with the college, Elena served as the assistant director for 3 Dots, a nonprofit arts organization in downtown State College.

Originally from Kentucky, Elena holds a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s degree in Comparative Literature from Penn State. She lives in State College with her spouse and dog. Outside of work, she spends time reading, writing, knitting and walking.
