Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?
My inspiration to major in Agricultural and Extension Education was my passion for the agriculture program that I was a part of during my time in high school. No matter the class or what we were learning about, I knew that the information was valuable, and I felt like it was the right place for me to be. I want to be able to do the same for my future students by engaging them with important information and giving them a place that is welcoming for all!
Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?
The best part of my time in Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences has been the community that we have of all of the people who support agriculture and the future of the industry. There is always a welcoming, friendly face at any event where there is a representative of the College of Agricultural Sciences.
Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?
When I was entering Penn State as a new student, I wish I would have known that it is okay to say "no thank you" to some opportunities when you already have a full plate. Just because you say no doesn’t mean it will never be a possibility in the future. It means that at the moment it is not right for you!
