Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?
I’ve always had a passion for animals, whether it was showing livestock in 4-H or working in my family's veterinary hospital. Majoring in Animal Science has allowed me to dive deeper into my interests and begin to prepare me for a wide variety of career paths.
Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?
My favorite part about being in the College of Ag Sciences at Penn State has been getting involved in all the clubs we have to offer. Joining these clubs has created opportunities to attend a variety of events and participate in activities that allow me to connect with my peers and industry professionals.
Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?
As a new student at Penn State, I wish I had known about the tight-knit community you can find within the College of Agricultural Sciences. Coming to such a big school can be very overwhelming and scary at times but you are quickly able to find valuable friendships and connections within Ag Sciences!
