Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?

My inspiration to pursue Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences came from my hands-on experiences volunteering at animal shelters and working at an emergency veterinary clinic while in high school.

Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?

The best part of my time in the College of Agricultural Sciences is when I joined the Swine Research Team as a first-year student. It gave me hands-on experience and helped me meet a professor who gave me research experience in her lab!

Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?

One thing I wish I could have known when coming to Penn State is that through the College of Agricultural Sciences, I can make a large school feel small. This made it easier for me to find communities that align with my passions and explore new interests!
