On October 8th, 2016, Fox Gap Rod & Gun and the local Pheasants Forever chapter hosted a youth pheasant hunt. Four youth and four members of the Penn State Chapter of The Wildlife Society who were all new to hunting were introduced to the sport. The day started out with gun safety and shooting practice at the range. Later, the hunters had the chance to hunt pheasants. Members of TWS served as mentors for the new hunters. A fun, safe day was had by all.
