Susan Bedsworth Warner

Susan joined the College of Agricultural Sciences Development and Alumni Relations team in April 2019 and serves as the communications specialist. Her responsibilities include writing gift stories, preparing a monthly email newsletter, creating editorial content for Development publications and the web, assisting with the planning and running of the annual scholarships and awards celebration, and preparing various other communications for the team. 

Prior to joining the college, Susan handled the marketing and communications efforts for the Office of Physical Plant for nearly 5 years after serving as the writer/editor on the Auxiliary & Business Services marketing team. Susan's career at Penn State began in 2009 as an assistant director of athletic communications.

Originally from Maryland, Susan holds a bachelor of arts degree in public relations from Penn State and a master of arts degree in communications from Johns Hopkins. She is a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association. Susan is a pancreatic cancer advocate, using running to fundraise for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Susan resides in Warriors Mark with her husband and two dogs. Outside of work, she is a passionate runner and loves to garden, read, spend time outdoors, and more.
