Marjorie Nye

Marjie Nye is an instructional designer who works with extension educators to design and develop engaging online courses and video.

Before joining the Digital Education Team, Marjie had a long career as a technical writer in the computer software industry. Marjie brings her experience in audience analysis, information organization and design, and educational writing to the world of online learning. She enjoys helping extension educators, in a variety of fields, share their expertise with online learners.  

Marjie has a bachelor's degree in biology from Duke University, a master's degree in technical writing from Bowling Green State University, and a post-baccalaureate certificate in educational technology integration from Penn State World Campus.
