Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?

I have always had an interest in forensic science, but specifically understanding how toxins affect the body. When I discovered Penn State's Pharmacology and Toxicology program, I knew it was the perfect fit to allow me to explore several career options related to my personal interest.

Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?

The best parts of my time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences have been participating in the many opportunities that are offered through our college. I was fortunate enough to study abroad for one semester and am now a part of a research lab led by my academic advisor.

Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?

As a new student at Penn State, I wish I would have known that it is okay to ask for help. Now, being a part of student advocacy organizations, I realize that there are so many people willing and available to answer questions and offer support to new students.
