Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?

I have always been interested in biochemistry, and the Pharmacology and Toxicology major allowed me to apply that knowledge to relevant human health issues. When I was deciding on what major to choose to study for, I saw this major and its very well acclaimed staff. For anyone interested in biochemistry, the Pharmacology and Toxicology major is home to highly successful professors who have published research that is relevant in your textbooks.

Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?

One of my best experiences was going to the College of Agricultural Sciences scholarship banquet. Most students who receive a scholarship are invited to meet with the donors and have dinner. You can meet so many amazing people who donate to our education, and the food is another huge benefit!

Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?

Do not be afraid to try out clubs you think you might not like. Get a new hobby or make new friends through a variety of clubs and being involved! Not only is it fun and the best way to make use of the Penn State community, but the connections you make and professional experiences you have are great for future employment.
