Emmi Welteroth, an accomplished project manager at the College of Agricultural Sciences, brings over six years of dedicate experience in project management to her role. Collaborating with the Marketing and Digital Education units, Emmi lends technical expertise in the process of planning and executing diverse projects. With a keen attention to detail and strategic foresight, Emmi monitors a wide array of projects, initiatives, and requests to ensure a seamless execution of work within the unit. Emmi also administers Workfront, the project management system leveraged within the Marketing and Digital Education Units, onboarding and training users and ensuring the system stays operational.

Emmi's notable achievements here at Penn State include spearheading the onboarding and adoption of Workfront, the unit's project management system. She defined streamlined processes and workflows, facilitated seamless migration, and conducted comprehensive training sessions for each team, ensuring smooth integration and maximizing platform utilization.

Additionally, Emmi played a pivotal role in collaborating with the unit director to develop a structured prioritization process for initiatives. By introducing a scoring mechanism and instituting quarterly planning sessions, she empowered teams to better align their efforts. This approach has enhanced project focus and alignment, resulting in more impactful outcomes for the units.

Prior to Penn State, Emmi worked at a family advertising agency for nearly 10 years, where she began as an office assistant and worked her way through various departments to become a marketing project manager.

Originally from Muncy, PA, Emmi studied at Marywood University and the University of Valencia. Through years abroad, Emmi has gained a fluency in Spanish allowing for professional working proficiency. When Emmi isn't working, you will find her spending time with her 3 cats, cooking, and traveling.
