Question #1: What inspired you to pursue the major you are in?

After enrolling in agricultural education classes in high school, I decided that I wanted to become a high school agriculture educator. My high school ag teachers made a significant impact on my life, and I want to be able to do the same for my own students someday.

Question #2: What has been the best part of your time in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences?

The best part of my time at the College of Ag Sciences has been the people that I have met and the connections that I have made. Through taking certain courses, becoming involved in different clubs, and participating in other activities, I have gotten to know so many different people and grow my personal and professional connections on and off of campus.

Question #3: What do you wish you would have known as a new student at Penn State?

One thing that I wish I would have known as a new student at Penn State is the number of opportunites that are available within the College of Ag Sciences and the University as a whole. There wree a few things my first year that I felt I had missed out on just because I did not know that they existed. My advice to new students would be to look into opportunities in areas that you have interest in and find more ways to become involved with your peers and with others within the University.
