I chose Penn State and the College of Agricultural Sciences because I knew that I wanted to get hands-on experience as I was not sure what I wanted to do. I knew that I liked plants and being outside all the time so I chose Plant Science Horticulture. I chose the Horticulture option because you get to work in the greenhouse a lot and I would love to work in a greenhouse after graduation.

Favorite Penn State Activity:
My favorite Penn State activity has definitely been the Horticulture Show put on by the Horticulture Club. Taking the Ag Arena and making it into a themed landscape with donated plants from all over the state.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
After graduation I am not sure what I want to do but I think I would like to work in a greenhouse where I can be around plants all day. I would like to eventually work with hemp as I think it is going to be a big part of the US agriculture.

Proudest Achievement in life so far:
I am most proud of being able to get through these online/hybrid semesters. The College of Agricultural Science's professors have been amazing with working with students so that they do well during this time. It is different and we are all trying out best, but I am very proud of the way the College of Ag Sciences has handled everything.

I love being outside whether it is hiking, fishing, reading, or kayaking I try to be outside all the time. In the winter I love to ski and sit by a fire and watch the Penguins play hockey. During the spring my favorite thing to do at State College is to take pictures of nature at the Arboretum.

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?
If I could be any animal I would love to be a bee. I think that bees are some of the coolest animals they can do so much but yet they are so small. Bees have a majestic way of flying and being able to collect so much pollen.

Dream Vacation Spot:
I have to say my dream vacation would probably be to Amsterdam to see the fields upon fields of tulips. I have traveled to a few places outside the US and so far my favorite has been Italy. Seeing all the different architecture and wine vineyards was absolutely astonishing.
