Danielle Clark is an instructional designer with the Digital Education Team (non-credit) at Penn State, where she utilizes her background in education, online course development, and learning management systems to help industry experts transform their content into quality online courses that are engaging for the learner. 

Prior to Penn State, Danielle was a high school biology teacher, where she taught classes such as microbiology, life science, and human anatomy and physiology in a traditional classroom setting, as well as asynchronous online courses that she developed and created herself. Danielle served as a technology resource for other teachers in the district and led several training sessions related to using the tools within the district’s learning management system to transform traditional synchronous lessons into quality digital content that could be completed asynchronously. After only her second year of teaching, Danielle was awarded Exemplary Educator of the Year in 2019.  

Originally from DuBois, PA, Danielle received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015 and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Slippery Rock University in 2016.
