Dave Sandor is an Instructional Designer at Penn State, where he utilizes his 13+ years of experience in education and training to design and develop eLearning courses and materials for World Campus, college, and DLC courses. Dave collaborates with faculty and colleagues on the Academic Digital Education team to design and develop new courses and course revisions. Additionally, Dave manages a portfolio of regular online course offerings and provides workshops and one-on-one consultations for faculty on best practices for teaching with technology. Dave represents the college as a participating member of the Design, Media, and Technology subcommittee of the Penn State Online Coordinating Council, and he contributes to special initiatives of the Academic Digital Education team.

Dave has presented at conferences at Penn State and Bucknell University as well as the TESOL 2020 Virtual Convention. Dave has completed the Quality Matters Peer Reviewer certification course as well as the EDUCAUSE Learning Technology Leaders Institute.

Prior to joining the College of Agricultural Sciences, Dave worked for the College of the Liberal Arts at Penn State as an Instructional Designer focusing on Digital Liberal Arts projects and initiatives. While there, Dave also served as a College Liaison for residential faculty seeking consultations for remote, hybrid, and technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Prior to Penn State, Dave worked as a technical writer/editor for custom eLearning software development and as an ESL instructor. 

Originally from Johnstown, PA, Dave received his MAET in Educational Technology from Michigan State in 2015.
