Leveraging 18 years of expertise in graphic design and video editing, Carrie is dedicated to producing engaging and accessible educational products. She collaborates closely with educators and instructional designers to develop pedagogically-sound graphics and videos tailored to support online courses. Additionally, Carrie takes a proactive role in overseeing accessibility and copyright compliance, ensuring that the unit adheres to industry best practices.
Driven by her passion for graphic design and video editing, Carrie's personal mission is to enrich the digital education landscape by creating high-quality educational materials that resonate with learners.
Prior to joining Penn State, Carrie owned and operated a business for four years, specializing in the creation of interactive wedding CDs. During this time, she honed her skills in custom graphics and video editing to deliver unique and immersive experiences for her clients.
Originally from Owensboro, KY, Carrie graduate from SER Metro in Detroit, MI. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her three children, embarking on travel adventures, and engaging in DIY home projects.
