Andy began his Penn State career in 2014 with the College of Engineering Finance Office. In 2016, he joined SIRO, gaining invaluable knowledge of pre-award. He joined the post-award staff in College of Agricultural Sciences in 2018 and is currently the Spotted Lanternfly Research Administrator, managing the financial side of the Spotted Lanternfly.

Before moving to State College in 2013 with his wife Megan, Andy worked in various departments at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he also obtained his bachelor’s degree in zoology in 2003 and his MBA in 2008. Andy has done research on a variety of animals including bats, woodrats, beavers, and cave crickets. Outside the office, Andy enjoys spending time with his sons Tyler and Benjamin, hiking, baking sweet treats, working in his wood shop, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
