The Valentine Center, adjacent to campus, provides a highly sophisticated arena to support all areas of turfgrass research. The 17-acre facility includes 2.5 acres of close-cut creeping bentgrass for golf course putting green research. A wide array of turfgrass management equipment and specialized materials make it possible to create or mimic many “real world” turfgrass environments. |
