4-H: All Program Teams 4-H Member Spotlight Annual Report Story - 2026 Maria Landschoot For the 2025 4-H annual report, we want to include a feature on one of our members: Micah Staples of Monroe County. This will be similar to the piece we did about Giuseppe Schiano Di Cola last year. Micah is currently a State Project Ambassador, has been involved in lots of environmental science activities. We want the piece to focus on his growth through the 4-H program, how 4-H has shaped him as a person, why he became interested in forestry/environmental science, and what that project area means to him. We can also talk about 4-H as a whole family experience/activity, as many members of his family are involved as either members or volunteers. We also want to hear about his experience as a SPA and as a young leader within the program. We are aiming for 600-750 words. Maria and Andrea can provide more direction as needed. 5.41
4-H: All Program Teams 4-H YIA Annual Report Story - 2026 Maria Landschoot We recently learned that one of our 4-H'ers has won the National 4-H Youth in Action award. This award is a huge honor, and we plan to highlight it in the annual report. The award will be publicly announced in October, and the story is under embargo until then. However, because of the annual report production schedule, we need to get it written before October. Aarush Muthukrishnan of Pittsburgh is the YIA award winner. In the piece, we would like to highlight what the award is, why Aarush received the award, his story in 4-H, the impact 4-H has had on him, how/why he became interested in STEM, what he plans to do as a YIA winner, etc. He also won a National 4-H AI Challenge award recently, so we will want to mention that as well. This piece will be a bit like the feature about Micah Staples, but formatted more like a traditional article and with a slightly more formal tone. Linked below is some background info on the YIA award and on Aarush. I'm also including the press release about PA's last YIA award winner. https://extension.psu.edu/programs/4-h/news/4-her-from-allegheny-county-wins-national-ai-in-agriculture-challenge https://extension.psu.edu/programs/4-h/news/pennsylvania-teen-wins-national-4-h-youth-in-action-award-and-5k-scholarship https://4-h.org/programs/4-h-youth-in-action-program/ We are aiming for 750-850 words. Maria and Andrea can provide more direction as needed. 5.41
4-H: All Program Teams PDP - 4-H - 2024 Andrea Rice The PDP is a strategic grogram planning process consisting of four phases: Phase 1—Topic Identification; Phase 2—Product and Evaluation Planning; Phase 3—Marketing Plan Development, Product Launch, and Evaluation Plan Execution; and Phase 4—Product Analysis and Improvement. The goal is to ensure that the program team develops and delivers high-quality, relevant, and impactful educational programs, products, and services through a variety of formats consistent with the organization’s vision. 34.66
4-H: All Program Teams Reprint - S2017/4-H Exhibit Cards - 2.5x3.5 2026 Andrea Rice Reprint and stock in warehouse 66.0
4-H: All Program Teams Welcome to the Real World Annual Report Story - 2026 Maria Landschoot For the 2026 annual report, we would like to include a feature on the "Welcome to the Real World" curriculum that PA 4-H recently introduced. This is a financial literacy curriculum designed to be used in classrooms. It is fairly new to the PA 4-H program, so we want to tell the story of the program, why and how it was introduced, why it was unique, and the impact it's having. Piece should be 500-700 words. Please reach out to Jeanette Stackhouse (jmb6036@psu.edu) to provide information and an interview about the program. 6.06
