Lackawanna County

Something for Everyone.

Lackawanna County 4-H has a unique program offered to educate the youth of the county. Lackawanna County 4-H offers a variety of project-based clubs, allowing youth to choose the skills they want to master, as well as try new project areas.  Our clubs meet at various times of the year: some clubs choose to meet all year round, some clubs meet for six to eight weeks, and some meet for a few months then take a break.  Our flexible meeting time throughout the year allow for county youth to participate in 4-H as well as other programs they may choose.  All of our club models are run by dedicated leaders who meet the youth at their level and help the youth grow educationally.  Each club participates in a community service project.  In addition to our clubs, our 4-H programs are available for classroom programs and afterschool programs for schools and community agencies.
